Rider's comments 2020

in English: "I enjoyed a fantastic week at the ranch! The rides gave a glimpse into the beautiful variety of landscapes in Andalusia with the rolling hills, views of the mountains, the rivers, forests, the Spanish inland with the fruit trees and so much more. I really didn´t know where to look....so beautiful ! Upon return to the ranch there was always a delicious meal ready and in the afternoon there was plenty of time to laze under the palm trees in the garden, walk into the town to experience authentic Spain or for a walk into the beautiful hilly countryside. The horses are lovingly cared for, very healthy and are great to ride. The beautiful green nature and the warm sunshine made February a perfect time for this riding adventure. Miranda, Giles and Katya, thank you for your hospitality and all good care, I immediately felt at home! Until next time!"

Via Facebook in Polish: "Szczerze polecam to wspaniałe miejsce każdemu, kto chciałby zobaczyć, poczuć i posmakować Andaluzję z końskiego grzbietu. Po tygodniowym pobycie w lutym 2020 juz wiem, że jest to jedyne miejsce gdzie chce spędzać kolejne wakacje w siodle. Miranda i Giles tworzą cudowną rodzinną atmosferę spokoju, a niezwykle dzielne, odważne, opanowane i chętne do współpracy konie oddają swemu jeźdźcowi całe serce i duszę. Po zakończonej przejażdżce czekała na nas przepyszna kolacja . Menu całego tygodnia było wachlarzem najpopularniejszych tradycyjnych hiszpańskich dań oraz deserów. Wszystko to w połączeniu ze wspaniałymi okolicznościami przyrody sprawiło, że czas spędzony w Coin pozostanie nie tylko wspomnieniem, ale też zaproszeniem do kolejnych andaluzyjskich przygód:)"

in English: "I highly recommend this wonderful place to anyone who wants to see, feel and taste Andalusia from a horse's back. After a week's stay in February 2020, I already know that this is the only place where I want to spend the next vacation in the saddle. Miranda and Giles create a wonderful family atmosphere of peace and extremely brave, composed and willing to cooperate horses who give their rider all their heart and soul. After the ride, a delicious dinner was waiting for us. The menu of the whole week was a tribute to the most popular traditional Spanish dishes and desserts. All this combined with the wonderful natural circumstances meant that the time spent in Coin will not only be a memory, but also an invitation to the next Andalusian adventure :)"

via Tripadvisor "Horselover's dream holiday: This is a very well organised set-up with both the hospitality and riding sides being well run and Miranda & Giles going above and beyond what could be expected. The place is an oasis of calm and tranquility, the buildings sympathetically restored and furnished in local style. My room was spacious and airy with a well-appointed bathroom. It had its own private patio with sun loungers, table and chairs. Miranda, Giles and Katy (their excellent cook) are good company and mealtimes were fun. The Spanish horses (mostly PREs) are beautiful, very well looked after, well trained and sure-footed. I stayed for a week and had five half-day rides on four different fit forward-going horses over very varied terrain and routes.

Their Barefoot saddles were extremely comfortable. Very green at this time of year, the countryside round about was stunning with mountain views, orange & lemon groves, rivers, almond blossom and spring flowers. Miranda very kindly provided me with lots of photographs of the rides to treasure. When not riding, there was plenty to explore in the town (10 minutes on foot), a walk to a local place of pilgrimage and there were also buses going Malaga (well worth a visit) and Marbella. I also joined in the weekly Pilates class held next to the pool. It was a fantastic break and I hope to go again."

via Tripadvisor "Couldn´t be more pleased: My husband and I visited HorseridingSpain over New Year's: me as a rider and he as a non-rider. We were both extremely well catered for and couldn't be more pleased with our week! Our hosts Miranda and Giles made us feel more like family guests rather than clients and Katy made the most lovely food & took great care of us during meals. It's nice that all the meals are at one big table and at set times, as it means you really get to know the other guests. My husband and I had the room above the common area & kitchen. It was spacious and airy, with a nice, modern bathroom with double sinks. The room also came with a wardrobe, a fridge, an AC/heater and a kettle (and a bottle of wine, yum). No TV, but Wifi that was fast and reliable. The room had it's own terrace with a table / chairs and deckchairs (lovely for basking in the warm Spanish sun after a morning spent riding). I had a LOVELY time on horse back.

The horses were very well taken care of (both Miranda and Giles being very skilled horse people & truly loving their horses) and a real pleasure to ride. The scenery was beautiful and each day's ride contained something special (lookouts, river crossings, riding through town etc.). All the horses were Spanish, which was a real treat for me coming from Sweden and not getting to ride Spanish horses back home. For me as an experienced rider, I very much enjoyed the fact that HorseridingSpain doesn't cater for beginners as it slows the pace of the ride down considerably. My husband enjoyed walks in Coín and the surrounding area while I was out riding. It's very handy that the town of Coín is (literally) just up the hill. Coín was nice town to stroll about in. As we spent New Year's there, we got to experience Coín's very special New Year's celebration. I'm not going to spoil it, go see it for youself and you're in for a real treat. ;) I can definitely see myself coming back for another week of riding at HorseridingSpain, no doubt about it!"
