Our Rides & What We Offer

We provide each day 4 - 5 hours riding, on top of this we will make lunch stops and breaks which means you will be out with your horse for a full session. These stops will be a mixture of 'picnic stops' or 'venta' stops (quiet Spanish restaurant style bars)

Due to the hot afternoons (which can be too much for the horse and human) in the summer months, we will enjoy early starts. (However, long, late, hot afternoons will be a good time to re-charge the batteries!)

Our Rides
Our rides will take us through rivers and river valleys, through orange and lemon tree plantations, through forest, over hills and mountains into the rugged countryside that is Andalucia. They will give you outstanding scenic views (bring your camera) and the most beautiful locations. We will also take you through the little villages and settlements that the normal tourist may never see...we will enjoy trots, canters and exhilarating gallops... splashing through rivers…riding past the loose roaming horses in the river valleys…riding past famous breeding stations such as the Ferrari stud where we can see the young horses at play... every ride is different and you will be amazed at the variety of the countryside that we can ride through...

Evenings & Day Off
In the evening you will be home at the ranch where you can relax by our pool or visit the town. One-day off is provided where we can help with any tours/sight-seeing excursions that you may want to undertake.

Andalucian Horse Show
On Thursday evening we all get to enjoy a presentatation of Andalucian Horsemanship. "Cartujano del Arte Ecuestre" offers us a unique spectacle showing us the dance and elegance of the Carthusian horse of pure Spanish blood and the movements of classic dressage, Piaffe, Passage, Levada, Cabriola..........a mixture of sentiments, professionalism and showmanship to the rythm of native Andalucia, with traditional costume and music. Set under the mountains of Mijas in a former bullring it is an authentic Andalucian experience. After this show we then all get to enjoy a beautiful dinner prepared for us by Pedro Trillo of¨"La Bohemia" restaurant in Coín - maybe on the summer terrace or in the rustic ambiance of the restaurant it's self.......a great way to end the day !
